The St. Charles Parish Assessment District held a public meeting at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at the St. Charles Parish Assessor’s Office, Parish Courthouse, 15045 River Road, Hahnville, Louisiana. The meeting was called to order at 10:00 a.m. by Assessor Tab Troxler. Those present, in addition to Mr. Troxler, were Timothy J. Vial and Kori Matherne. The first item of business was the approval of the minutes of the November 20, 2025 meeting. Assessor Troxler announced that this was a public hearing and invited public input. There being no comment, the public hearing was closed and the minutes were approved as presented.
Assessor Troxler read the Resolution to levy the 2026 Ad Valorem Tax for the St. Charles Parish Assessment District in the amount of .89 mills on all property subject to taxation in St. Charles Parish. It was noted that the required Public Notice for this Public Hearing was posted at the Assessor’s Office and on the St. Charles Parish Assessor’s Office website at www.stcharlesassessor.com on July 1, 2026.
Assessor Troxler announced that this was a public hearing and invited public input. There being no comment, the public hearing was closed and the Resolution to levy the 2026 Ad Valorem Tax for the St. Charles Parish Assessment District on all property subject to taxation in St. Charles Parish was approved by Assessor Troxler.
There being no further business, Assessor Troxler ordered the meeting adjourned.
